“ Jye ’ s family home is on top of Castle Hill , overlooking the ocean . It has the most beautiful garden and is very Mediterranean ,” Sam explains . “ If we could have been married overseas , it would have been on the rocks in Spain , dancing under the moonlight . so this was super fitting .” A honeymoon wasn ’ t initially on the cards ( the couple were knee-deep in a house build ), but Jye couldn ’ t resist another surprise — a few days on Magnetic Island . “ We had so much fun that we also headed to Cairns for a couple of nights at the Crystalbrook Riley ,” says Sam .
It ’ s been a whirlwind ever since the big day for these newlyweds — married in October , moving into their forever home in February , and now expecting a new member of the family in November . But for Jye and Sam , that ’ s all part of the adventure . “ To us , marriage is a lifelong commitment to your best friend ,” says Sam . “ It ’ s a life that ’ s going to be full of rollercoasters , high tides and low tides , amazing memories , and , most importantly , growing with your special person .” You can ’ t ask for better than that !
