LHM Senior Health: Finding the“ Perfect Day” in Simple Moments
LHM Real Estate Celebrates Women in Construction
The 2026 scholarship was presented to Jada Richard, a student at Kearns High School, in recognition of her achievements in the classroom and her dedication to serving others. In the photo accompanying this article, Jada stands with Amanda Covington, chief corporate affairs officer for the Larry H. Miller Company, and Julie Ramos, managing director for Miller Family Philanthropy.
Through gatherings like this, the Miller family and company reaffirm their ongoing commitment to supporting education, strengthening communities and honoring the legacy of Dr. King.
LHM Senior Health: Finding the“ Perfect Day” in Simple Moments
The teams at Advanced Home Health and Hospice are challenging themselves to give patients unexpected experiences— and discovering what happens when they take time to ask what matters most.
In February, Advanced Hospice of Ohio coordinated a flight of a lifetime for patient James Whitehead, who dreamed of flying in an airplane for the first time. With help from a local pilot, a short route and a small group of caregivers, that dream took off. Whitehead enjoyed it so much that, after landing, he asked to go again— and the pilot obliged.
In March, the Arizona hospice team created a similar“ perfect day” for Clarence Hennings, a lifelong Chicago White Sox fan. When his nurse asked what a perfect day might look like, he mentioned seeing the team play one more time. The team secured transport, tickets and clinical support to make a spring training game possible— an outing his wife said gave him life and hope.
Each story began with a simple question:“ What would make your day?” The Advanced Home Health and Hospice team would listen, and use the relationships and resources around them to bring those answers to life, and make a perfect day.
LHM Real Estate Celebrates Women in Construction
Behind every great project is a team building it together— and during Women in Construction Week, LHM Real Estate took time to recognize and celebrate the women helping bring our developments to life.
Across Larry H. Miller Real Estate, including Destination Homes and TallyCM, women are leading, designing, managing and shaping the work we do every day. Their leadership, creativity and expertise are reflected in every detail, from early planning to final delivery. This week served as a meaningful reminder of the impact they have across our organization and the industry as a whole.
To celebrate, team members had the opportunity to visit Downtown Daybreak for a behind-the-scenes look at projects currently underway. The group toured The Pennant and surrounding construction sites, gaining firsthand insight into the progress, collaboration and craftsmanship driving Downtown Daybreak forward. It was a chance to not only see the work in action, but to connect with one another and celebrate shared contributions.
Thank you to the women across our teams who continue to build, lead and inspire. You are helping create the places where life takes place.
