UTAH Green Forever Seating a New Crowd Among the many new features provided by the recent renovations of Vivint Smart Home Arena are new seats in both the lower and upper bowls. But those who grew to love the iconic green seats from the old Delta Center days are still able to sit in them—just in a new location. They are currently serving Ogden residents and visitors in the Ogden Pioneer Stadium, which recently went through a renovation of its own. When the LHM Group learned about a need for the stadium, giving them the old chairs was a perfect way to keep them in circulation. In addition to the Ogden stadium, a few loyal Jazz fans now have these beloved seats as keepsakes, and others were redistributed to community groups and nonprofits. LHM was thrilled to find a new purpose for these items and is confident the history they hold will live on. ◆ COLORADO The Makings of a Great School Year Stuff for Students in Colorado During the month of August, Larry H. Miller dealerships throughout Colorado held the 17th annual “Stuff for Students” school supply drive. Dealerships in Denver, Aurora, Centennial, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, Thornton, Federal Heights, and Boulder sought to fill a vehicle in their showrooms with schools supplies to help pre-kindergarten through high school students in need. Dealerships also accepted monetary donations. Almost 25,000 students in Colorado public school districts have been identified as experiencing homelessness. Others live in poverty, so school supplies can be expensive or almost impossible to get. “One of the greatest investments we can make as a company is in our youth,” said Ray Reilly, senior vice president of operations, Larry H. Miller Dealerships. “By participating in ‘Stuff for Students,’ we’ve been able to ensure that local students have the tools they need to succeed in school.” More than 15 school districts received monetary donations and supplies, giving students the supplies they need to ensure a fun and successful school year. ◆ “One of the greatest investments we can make as a company is in our youth.” Ray Reilly Senior Vice President of Operations 2 LHM Winning Spirit September/October 2018
