Group Wins Job Corps Award
Clearfield Job Corps Center, and its
Western Region, selected Larry H. Miller
Automotive Group as the Community
Supporter of the Year for 2018. Job Corps
assists young people from ages 16 to 24 in
gaining technical and academic training. They
seek to help these teens and young adults use
this training to make students eligible for
employment, further education, and much
more—all so students can become more
independent and improve their quality of life.
Longtime general manager Dave Montemorano
has retired after 21 amazing years working with
Larry H. Miller Dealerships. After joining the
group in 1997, Dave served as the general manager
of several dealerships before finally moving to Larry
H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Albuquerque
(ACD) in 2009.
During his time with the Larry H. Miller Group,
Dave received many awards, including the Larry H.
Miller Management Award in 2002 and the Larry
H. Miller Leadership Excellence Award in 2012 as
well as numerous manufacturer and local awards.
His many years of faithful service will be long
remembered, and his impact on both the Group and
the people of Albuqueque will be felt for a long time
to come. ◆
The cooperation and mutual partnership
between the Larry H. Miller Automotive
Group and Job Corps really supports and aids
the staff and students at Jobs Corps. Various
employer partners besides LHM also work
with the training programs at Clearfield
Job Corps Center and the centers located in
the Western Region. With such a long list
of employer partners, it’s an honor that Job
Corps chose Larry H. Miller Automotive
Group as this year’s winner. ◆
