Unveiling a Center for Entrepreneurship at SUU
LHM executives Jay Francis and Mike
Wankier represented the LHM Group
at the dedication and ribbon-cutting for
the new Dixie L. Leavitt Business Building at
Southern Utah University. The new building
offers students 420,000 square feet of offices,
classrooms, investment labs, and numerous
study spaces along with something truly
remarkable—the Larry H. and Gail Miller
Family Center for Entrepreneurship.
The goals of
the center are to
encourage students
to develop their
creativity while
giving them
opportunities to collaborate and innovate so
that they can learn to think like entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurship is a subject near and dear to
the hearts of Gail Miller and the rest of the Miller
family. Along with donating money
for this project, the family and Board of Directors
have pledged to support entrepreneurship within
the Group of Companies as part
of the Miller 2020 Vision. ◆
