MILLER FAMILY FOUNDATION & DESTINATION HOMES
Where Compassion Meets Construction
On September 3, 2025, community members gathered at The INN Between, an organization in Salt Lake City that provides medical respite and end-of-life care for individuals experiencing homelessness, to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for several newly remodeled bathrooms on their campus.
HomeAid Utah partnered with Destination Homes to complete the renovations, enlisting trade partners, volunteers and construction expertise to ensure the project was executed with care and quality. The upgrades included a full remodel of nine resident bathrooms, making them safer, more accessible and better suited to the complex medical needs of those served by The INN Between.
Bart Sharp, a board member of HomeAid Utah and executive vice president of Larry H. Miller Real Estate, played a crucial role in bringing the project to fruition through shared vision and leadership. The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation has proudly supported The INN Between since 2017, providing over $ 1 million in grants to help advance its mission.
The Miller Family Foundation also supports HomeAid Utah by funding similar renovation projects— like the recent bathroom remodel— at facilities across the state. Many of these efforts focus on ADA-compliant upgrades and improving housing functionality for individuals transitioning out of homelessness. Together, these investments reflect the foundation’ s broader commitment to creating stability through safe housing, community collaboration and longterm solutions.
With partners like Destination Homes, HomeAid Utah is working to ensure that every person, regardless of their circumstances, has access to a safe and dignified place to call home.
