Thousands of employees across the Larry H. Miller Company’ s platforms and businesses participated in the 15th annual Larry H. Miller Week of Service, honoring our founder’ s birthday.
After Larry H. Miller’ s passing in 2009, the Miller family established a tradition to recognize his legacy. Each year on his birthday, the Larry H. Miller Company employees gathered for a day of service. The tradition then expanded to a week of service.
“ When my father founded the Larry H. Miller Company, he and my mom did so with the belief that businesses should serve the communities where they reside,” said Steve Miller, Chairman of the Board.“ Every year, we honor my father’ s legacy and his birthday by serving the communities he knew and loved.”
During the week of April 21, members of the Miller family, employees from the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, the LHM Company, LHM Real Estate, Miller Sports + Entertainment, and Real Salt Lake gathered at the Jordan River near the Power District to clean up and beautify the area.
