HARNESSING THE HUNGER TO BUILD AND SERVE OTHERS

Steve Starks, CEO of the Larry H. Miller Company, delivered Snow College’ s 137th commencement address on May 2 to the graduating Class of 2025. As part of the ceremony, Steve was also presented with an honorary doctorate from the college.

In his speech, Steve spoke to the graduates about living during a time of global innovation and uncertainty, artificial intelligence and gave the graduates a few pieces of advice and shared his excitement for their bright future. He told the graduates to remember that life is measured equally through your successes and personal values and how workplaces may be changing, but the dignity that comes with exertion remains steady.
He left the students with these parting words:“ May you all have success in your journeys from this point on. May you have compassion and conviction, integrity and intuition, and humility; yet a hunger to build and serve others.”
March 1 – Gail Miller was listed as one of 10 influential women in Utah history by Deseret News. Others listed alongside Gail were Martha Hughes Cannon, who was the first female state senator in Utah and Olene Walker, Utah’ s first and only female governor.
March 4 – Swig opened its third location in Kansas City, Missouri. To celebrate the day, the new Swig Liberty location offered customers a free drink for stopping by. Two additional locations in Missouri are currently under development.
March 17 – RSL’ s Diego Luna was named the Utah Sports Commission’ s Professional Male Athlete of the Year for the 2024 season. The award was presented on April 4 at the Utah State of Sports Awards. Diego is the first
