LARRY H . MILLER SENIOR HEALTH LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
BUILDING ON A FOUNDATION OF EXCELLENCE
The Larry H . Miller Senior Health Leadership Conference convened on April 29 through May 2 , 2024 , in Park City , Utah , and brought together nearly 200 senior health leadership team members . This diverse group included administrators , clinical leaders , and regional and executive team members from across the country . The annual conference increases alignment and reinforces core values across skilled nursing , home health and hospice , and senior living business lines .
“ As our footprint increases and our business lines expand it is even more important that we find the time to come together and focus on the mission of serving our senior health patients . Our culture remains our strongest competitive advantage , and this conference allows us to discuss our priorities and perpetuate our shared culture ,” said LHMSH President Joe Walker .
The conference provided an excellent opportunity for the team to interact , listen to outside speakers and hear from senior leadership , and included discussions led by Eric Bennett , Kyle Johnson and Amber Robinson . Motivational speaker Clint Pulver delivered an energetic , one-of-a-kind perspective on building a winning team and creating a culture where employees want to stay . Andy Cindrich , a senior consultant with FranklinCovey , spoke on how leaders can amplify the intelligence and capabilities of their team members , the impact of multiplying and diminishing behaviors , and tapping into what other people know by asking better questions .
Forest Arnett , president of Advanced Home Health & Hospice , shared the strategic vision for his group and the opportunity for continued growth within existing agencies as well as new markets across the country . He highlighted the dual priorities of providing a “ Perfect Patient Experience ” and being “ the best place in town to work .”
