My recent travels to Washington , D . C ., with Utah Honor Flight meant the world to me , and it wouldn ’ t have been possible without the generosity of the Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation .
Utah Honor Flight is a nonprofit organization dedicated to flying Utah Veterans to D . C . to visit war memorials built in their honor . In May 2023 , the Miller Family Foundation sponsored two flights allowing me and over 100 veterans the opportunity to visit our memorials .
As an employee of Larry H . Miller Megaplex for over 11 years and a Desert Storm Veteran , it gives me a great sense of satisfaction that something so important to me is also valued by my company .
This flight brought excitement and much-need closure to all the Veterans aboard , all of whom have a deep sense of love and adoration for the United States of America .
Many were emotional visiting their memorials and made etchings of their lost friends , and two Veterans reconnected after decades of no contact with each other .
I want to thank the Miller Family Foundation for allowing me to participate and for their support of Utah Honor Flight .
