“ This trip provided our team with an opportunity to gain detailed , relevant market data points and information that can give LHM Real Estate and Destination Homes the defining edge in our markets . Visiting Atlanta elevated the vision of our team for master-planned community development in community and product design , and we had a little fun as we made connections with the projects we learned about and each other ,” said Breann Johnson , vice president of People & Culture . The trip consisted of touring strategically selected development projects with the purpose of learning best practices . Each development project was selected based on their related significance to work in the LHM Real Estate portfolio .
Projects visited included The Battery , Trilith , Serenbe , Atlantic Station ,
Ponce City Market , and Glenwood Park . When the group visited Trilith and Serenbe they were able to meet and tour with the respective leaders of those communities ( Rob Parker – Trilith President & CEO | Steve Nygren – Serenbe Founder & CEO ). Rob and Steve ’ s insights into their projects proved extremely valuable in the education process for the team .
“ It was a fun trip that allowed me to connect with and learn from members of the team that I do not typically work with day-to-day ,” shared Weston Lackey , director of operations for LHM Real Estate . “ We toured various projects and heard from the project stakeholders , which opened my eyes to how developments can be wellexecuted with a purpose and vision in mind . I look forward to utilizing the insights learned and connections made in my continued work .”
