The inaugural Larry H . Miller Real Estate Summit took place in early February at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City . The half-day event brought together LHM Real Estate employees and builder partners .
The day started with economic insights from Ali Wolf , chief economist with Zonda . Ali shared micro and macro data on the housing market and economy . Overall , Ali spoke highly of the Utah housing market and said she is optimistic as interest rates stabilize . Ali also reminded attendees that quality neighborhoods , good schools and proximity to amenities / conveniences continue to be high priorities when searching for a new home .
Brad Holmes , president of Larry H . Miller Real Estate , spoke about the company ’ s vision , values and longterm approach to real estate development . Brad shared how the choices made today touch countless people ’ s lives . How to develop , where to develop and what to create matters . In an industry better known for focusing on short-term profit , LHM Real Estate takes a long-term view of building value , guided by four principles : hard work , integrity , stewardship and service . He reminded everyone in the room to remember that doing the right thing is our competitive advantage .
Attendees also heard from David Cannon , president of masterplanned communities , about exciting new residential developments the company is working on in the township of Hoytsville and the City of Saratoga Springs . It is anticipated that both projects will begin selling homes in mid-2026 .
Cameron Jackson , SVP of operations at LHM Real Estate , kicked off his portion of the meeting by honoring Destination Homes , Holmes Homes and Rainey Homes for being builders in the master-planned community of Daybreak since the development began in 2004 . Daybreak will celebrate its 20th anniversary later this year .
