EMPLOYEES in the News Veronika Egginton Veronika Egginton, vice president of digital development for LHM Dealerships, was spotlighted in the July issue of Auto Remarketing as part of being an inaugural recipient of the Women in Retail award. This awards program specifically recognizes leaders on the retail side of the auto industry. “Never say never,” Veronika shared. “When I was a little girl, I most certainly didn’t see myself working in automotive retail. It happened because I was open-minded and flexible in my career choices. I was able to see great opportunities as they appeared, which led me to where I am today.” Veronika started working closely with LHM Dealerships when she was with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) West Business Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and that’s how she ended up on the front lines of automotive retail. She has been with the Group since 2015, and her humble and dedicated leadership have motivated and inspired many as she helps the Group be the best place in every town to work and do business. Steve is currently VP of Utah Jazz Team Security, a role he wouldn’t trade for anything. Before taking his current position, he led the security team at Vivint Smart Home Arena and has held a number of other positions since joining the LHM Group in 2011. Samu is Steve’s partner when it comes to ensuring Jazz team security. His current position is actually his third job with the LHM Group, with stints at Apple and Tesla taking place between each one. Samu and Steve use their shared history of playing University of Utah football to provide support and a sense of teamwork to their security duties. Both are prime examples of what it means to continue the mission and embody the values of the Larry H. The focus was on her approach to creativity and how she felt about being an influential woman in the sports world. Throughout the interview, Elaina maintained her humility, encouraging others to do their best and believe in themselves. Elaina clearly enjoys her job, saying, “I truly enjoy the people I work with and the relationships I’ve built within my department and the organization as a whole. I also enjoy going to games and paying less attention to what’s happening on the court and more on the fans who are enjoying the game. You can truly see the joy that the Jazz brand provides, and I like being one small piece of that.” See the full original article at LHMWSM.com LHMWSM.com 1 15 5
