The Best Place
to Work
Prestige Financial Focuses
on Employees
P
restige Financial recently celebrated 25 years,
an anniversary that shows just how much
the company has grown over time. Much of
that growth and success is due to an employee-
centric approach to business, an approach that
was demonstrated again during their celebration.
Among other events, Prestige employees were
given the chance to do a “money grab,” wherein a
person enters a special box filled with cash that is
continually blown around. The lucky individual
is able to keep as much cash as they can grab
within a certain amount of time.
Two even luckier employees were overjoyed
to discover that they had won a car, courtesy
of Prestige. Employees were able to enter a
drawing for the car each time they performed
above and beyond or otherwise exemplified the
values of the LHM Group. Other employees who
embodied the values of the Group were awarded
specially commissioned coins that display
the four values. These events show Prestige’s
dedication to being a great place to work—for
the last 25 years and into the future. ◆

Lunches for Learning
LHM Downtown Honda Spokane Helps Community Children
L
illy Cowart, the 11-year-old daughter
of LHM Downtown Honda Spokane
general manager Andrew Cowart,
had an idea for how she could make a
difference for kids at her school. One
day last spring, Lilly had an epiphany:
“Everybody needs a good lunch to learn.”
What concerned her was that there were
students at her school that could not afford
to have a lunch every day. Some of them
had incurred a debt as they bought school
lunch. Lilly, who was raised in a home
where she learned about the importance
of thinking of others and giving back,
shared her concern with her parents. Dad,
Andrew, reached out to the the Spokane
School District to find out just how big

the debt was, and how he and Lilly could
help. After conferring with his team at the
dealership, Andrew launched an effort to
help chip away at the student lunch debt.
In a mere two months, the dealership and
customers throughout the community
worked together to meet the goal. On
October 22, Lilly was able to present a
$10,000 check as a gift to her schoolmates
in a special ceremony in front of the whole
student body at her elementary school.
After the assembly, Lilly said she hadn’t
been able to knock the smile off her face
all day. Efforts like this show that great
ideas for enriching lives can come from
anywhere. ◆
