As the LHM Group approaches its 4th decade, there are more
and more people who have been a part of the company for a
huge portion, if not the majority, of their working lives. It is
to these people that the Group pays tribute at the annual Service
Awards. Those who have reached the milestones of 10, 15, 20, 25,
30, and 35 years of service with the company within the last year
are invited to attend a special dinner and ceremony hosted by
Clark Whitworth, Raymond Hall, and other LHM leaders.
This year, each region hosted an event, with attendees from
Idaho coming to Utah to participate. At this year’s events, there
were 126 people who had reached the 10-year mark, 58 who had
served for 15 years, 37 who had been with the company for 20
years, 31 for 25 years, 13 who were in their 30th year, and five
who had been with the group for an incredible 35 years.
One of the best aspects of the annual service awards banquet
is that long-time employees and company leaders can share
stories and experiences from their time with the LHM Group
of Companies. It’s a chance to reminisce about those who are
no longer with us and to look forward to the future where these
dedicated employees will continue to help fulfill the company’s
vision of being “the best place in town to work.” ◆
