LHM Dodge Ram Avondale Mercedes-Benz of Draper ARIZONA UTAH Dealership Domination The Awards Keep Rolling In For Larry H. Miller Dealerships, 2018 may very well be one of the most award-winning years in Group history. Among the many accolades the dealership group has received this year are numerous “best place to work for” awards for dealerships in nearly every state where we do business and from multiple publications. The latest to receive recognition are Larry H. Miller Mercedes-Benz Draper and Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Avondale, both of which received the award from Automotive News. To be recognized in this way by a major industry publication is an incredible honor and one that every dealership employee should be proud of. “It’s rewarding to see two of our dealerships recognized as best places to work,” said Dean Fitzpatrick, president, Larry H. Miller Dealerships. “These stores exemplify our company vision to be the best place in town to work and the best place in town to do business.” For LHM Dodge Ram Avondale, this is the second year in a row that they’ve received the award. For each of these two dealerships, the award is a testament to good management and high employee satisfaction, since it is based on anonymous employee surveys and other data. With an achievement like this in the books, the future for these two dealerships looks bright indeed. ◆ UTAH Driving Sales Saxton Horne’s Silvia Potempa Addresses National Convention On October 21, leaders in the automotive industry gathered in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the annual Driving Sales Executive Summit. This event is a way for those involved in the automotive business to learn about innovative industry practices and to hear speakers discuss ways to strengthen and bolster sales. Silvia Potempa, Saxton Horne’s social media manager, was one of these speakers, leading a breakout session that focused on Facebook marketing. “Being selected to speak at the conference was an acknowledgment of all the hard work the team has done for the past year. Saxton Horne is one of 19 businesses nationwide that Facebook has given the ‘Facebook Pro’ moniker. The access the agency has to Facebook allows us to execute programs that much larger brands and companies aren’t able to. We are fortunate to have Silvia lead such a dynamic group of people.” said Spencer Beckstead, Saxton Horne vice president. Being invited to speak at the summit is a major honor and gives Saxton Horne—and the LHM Group—a chance to highlight the techniques and internal culture that has made us a leader within the automotive community. ◆ 4 LHM Winning Spirit November/December 2018
