10th annual CHARITY
MASCOT BOWL
On September 30, 2013, the Jazz Bear and
Bumble from the Salt Lake Bees helped
raise donations at the 10th annual Lehi
High School Mascot Bowl. The fundraising
football game and entertainment are
designed to benefit Firemen and Friends for
Kids and Bear Hugs for Kids—local charities
that provide children in need the opportunity
to shop for presents at Christmastime.

The Lehi eighth-grade football team took on
an all-Star mascot team coached by former
college coaches Lavell Edwards and Ron
McBride, along with Utah Jazz icons Frank
Layden and Thurl Bailey. The team included
Bear; Salt Lake Bees mascot, Bumble
and other professional and college sports
mascots. WS
Mike Gerard works as a claims
specialist for Total Care Auto. He
has been in this position and with the
Group for nearly 13 years. Mike has one
son and one daughter and makes his
home in West Jordan, Utah.

for nearly four years. Jessi and her
husband have a baby girl and live in
Murray, Utah.

Meikle LaHue works as the director
of game operations and promotions
for the Utah Jazz. She has been with
the Jazz and with the Group since
2006. Meikle and her husband have
a son and daughter and make their
home in Sandy, Utah.
