Announcements March 2, 2018: Valley View Elementary in Utah performs an original musical honoring Utah Jazz owners. “Our Home Court” is based on the true story of Larry H. and Gail Miller. March 28, 2018: The Utah Jazz hosted 5 For The Fight Night during the Jazz vs. Boston Celtics game to raise funds for cancer research. March 29, 2018: Former Utah Jazz center Mark Eaton announced publication of his new book “The Four Commitments of a Winning Team.” March 30, 2018: Autism Awareness Night was hosted by the Utah Jazz and Vivint Gives Back, Vivint Smart Home’s charitable foundation, during the Jazz vs. Memphis Grizzlies game. March 30, 2018: The Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and Vivint Smart Home Arena announced a preseason game on Sept. 24 against the Vancouver Canucks in the Salt Lake Shootout. April 4, 2018: The Utah Jazz and Ashley Furniture HomeStore teamed up for the second year to donate 40 beds to underprivileged youth. April 5, 2018: The Utah Jazz and ZYIA Active, the new official apparel sponsor of the Utah Jazz Dancers, hosted a Yoga on the Court event at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Monday, April 9. April 6, 2018: The Larry H. Miller Group of Companies was selected as one of the private boards of the year by Private Company Director Magazine. The award will be presented May 16–18, 2018, at the Westin City Center in Washington, DC. April 9, 2018: Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal/Daily announced the selection of Steve Starks, president of the Utah Jazz and Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment, as one of its national Forty Under 40 honorees for the Class of 2018. April 10, 2018: The Utah Best of State Awards named Larry H. Miller Dealerships as the winner in the Merchandising & Consumer Services category for 2018. The annual awards recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah. April 12, 2018: The NBA announced that Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell had been named the Kia NBA Western Conference Rookie of the Month for games played during March and April. The NBA also announced that Utah Jazz Head Coach Quin Snyder was named the Western Conference Coach of the Month for games played in March/April. April 13, 2018: The Utah Jazz and six of its corporate partners teamed up this season to assist the local community. More than $500,000 was provided to a variety of schools and nonprofit organizations along the Wasatch Front through charitable donations of cash or services. Corporate partners included CenturyLink, Cyprus Credit Union, Mountain America Credit Union, Safelite Auto Glass, Western Governors University, and local Ford dealerships. April 19, 2018: LHM Tour of Utah and event partner University of Utah Health once again collaborated on “Sprint to the Finish,” an activity book that promotes healthy lifestyles for elementary-aged children. April 27, 2018: The Utah Jazz announced a new corporate partnership with Spacestation Gaming, a Utah-based esport organization, as the official esports partner of the Utah Jazz. April 30, 2018: LHM Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Boise was named to Wards Auto e-Dealer 100 list, which recognized the top dealerships in the country based on Internet sales. May 3, 2018: Gail Miller addressed a National Day of Prayer breakfast hosted by the St. George Interfaith Council and Dixie State University in St. George, UT.
