LHM Scholarship Recipient
Lands Coveted Internship
The Larry H. Miller Education Foundation is a
testament to Larry and Gail Miller’s devotion
to education and eagerness to provide
opportunities for children of employees to get a
quality education. In the case of one scholarship
recipient, that university education came with
a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Briana “Bree”
Fanchini, who attends the University of New
Mexico, studying Communication, was accepted
into the prestigious Disney College Program
and began her internship in January. The Disney
College Program allows Bree to spend five months
living and working as a cast member at Walt
Disney World in Florida. Only 10 percent of the
students who apply for the program are accepted,
so Bree is in rare company as she learns the ins and
outs of the business and develops useful skills that
will serve her throughout her education and into
her professional life. Bree’s father works at Larry
H. Miller Toyota Albuquerque, and the family
is grateful for the opportunities provided by the
Larry H. Miller Education Foundation. ​◆

Those who have already been
enrolled/accepted in the program
need to reapply before each academic
year (July 1 deadline). Acceptance
into the program for the Fall Semester
applies to the entire academic year
(Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer).
