New Ford Dealership in Mesa
F
ord drivers in Mesa, Arizona, have relied
on Berge Ford for over 75 years. From one
family-owned dealership with deep roots
in the community to another, the transition
could not have been smoother. Now, Berge
has become LHM Ford Mesa. The sale was
finalized on March 1, a move that brings the
total number of LHM Dealerships in Arizona to
13, and the total number in the greater Phoenix
area to nine.
“We’re thrilled to
continue to grow
our presence with
a strong brand in a
market we love.”
Dean Fitzpatrick, President
Larry H. Miller Dealerships
“Berge Ford has been owned and operated
by our family for more than 75 years. In
determining a buyer, we looked for
a company that was family owned and whose
values and culture matched with our own,”
said Nancy Berge, president, Berge Ford, Inc.
“We hand-selected Larry H. Miller Dealerships
for the alignment of culture, their focus on
giving back in the community, and the way
they treat their employees. We know the
dealership will be in good hands.”
The acquisition consists of a sales and service
center and a collision center, Larry H. Miller
Collision Center East Valley; a commercial
vehicle center, Larry H. Miller Ford Mesa
Commercial Vehicle Center; and an off-site
quick lane, Larry H. Miller Quick Lane Tire
and Auto Center. The Pit Stop, a café and
coffee shop, is also located in the dealership.
“We’re thrilled to continue to grow our
presence with a strong brand in a market we
love,” said Dean Fitzpatrick, president, Larry
H. Miller Dealerships. “The Berge family
has built this dealership into a Ford Triple
Crown winner as they have provided superior
customer service to the residents of Mesa
and the greater Phoenix area over the past 75
years. We look forward to building upon their
legacy by incorporating our own company
principles and values, and we are committed to
excellence for our customers, employees, and
community.” ◆

Vivint Smart Home Arena Wins Award
I
n January, Vivint Smart Home Arena’s 2018 renovation
was recognized by Engineering News-Record, a major
industry publication. The design and construction of the
renovation was named a “Best of the Best Project” among
sports and entertainment venues. A panel of nine judges
from across the building industry, including architects,
engineers, designers, and green consultants, evaluated
various projects in order to select the winners.
Winning this award is a significant achievement, one
that shows just how impressive the renovation was,
especially when the speed and efficiency of the project
is taken into consideration. As fans and others use the
arena on a constant basis for games, concerts, and more,
these efforts will continue to bear fruit. ◆
