Spotlight on
OUR EMPLOYEES

At the recent Who We Are broadcast, we learned how important it is that we continue to not just know the values of the
LHM Group of Companies, but also to live them every day, whether we are at work or not. The following employee spotlights are two
individuals recently featured in Who We Are and at Leadership Conference as people who have truly exemplified the values.
Cesar Castaneda
LHM Chrysler Jeep Avondale
Cesar was featured last year on “What Would You Do”
produced by ABC News. In the segment, a woman with
two children was in an ice cream parlor in the Phoenix
area. The woman told one of her children that because
he was her biological child, he could have anything he
wanted. She told the other child that because she was
a foster child, she could only select the cheapest items.
This scenario was staged, but Cesar didn’t know that,
and offered to pay for anything the foster child wanted.
He later gave her some cash and told her that things
would get better before the setup was revealed by the
show’s host. HOW WOULD YOU SPEND
YOUR IDEAL DAY OFF?
Cesar’s noble act earned him a lot of praise, but it hasn’t
gone to his head. In his day-to-day life, Cesar is a CRC
manager at Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Avondale.
While he’s only been at that dealership for about a year,
he has worked for the LHM Group for five years. When
he isn’t at work, he spends time with his four children. Memorizing most of the used car

Taylor Bice
Mercedes-Benz of Draper
Taylor appeared in one of the videos shown in
the Who We Are broadcast. In a reenactment of
a story told by a customer, Taylor was at work
when these custo mers came in to ready their
vehicle for a trip to Colorado. The purpose of the
trip was to take their sick daughter to undergo a
special surgery. The family was understandably
stressed and worried about the trip, but
appreciated how Taylor reassured them that the
vehicle had been fully inspected and how he
followed up with them about the surgery after it
happened.
Taylor has worked at Mercedes-Benz of Draper
for five years, and is a service advisor there. He
currently lives in Orem, Utah, with his wife and
two children.
