LHM VOICES - MEASURING EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
LHM Voices 2015, our Group-wide employee engagement survey, was conducted this past November. The survey is a way for us to discover what’s
working within the Group and what could work even better. The research objectives of the survey were to measure two areas:
1. Employee Engagement and 2. Alignment with our mission, vision and values.
Qualtrics, the independent research company conducting the survey, received 3,594 survey responses, which represents 34% of the entire
Larry H. Miller Group employees, up from the 2013 response rate of 24%.
Employee Engagement is a broad term that encompasses: satisfaction, morale, job attitude, perception of leadership, recognition and sense of
contribution. On a 5-point scale, from “Strongly Disagree” to “Strongly Agree,” respondents rated their position on key anchor statements (see
graphics below) resulting in three favorability rankings: Favorable, Neutral and Unfavorable.
