SAXTON HORNE BRINGS HOME THE GOLD (AND SILVER) Saxton Horne’s digital team designed and created the Expeditions7.com website, which gives visitors a stunning view of the epic E7 journey across seven continents in Toyota Land Cruisers. Saxton Horne Communications returned from the 2014 Utah ADDY Awards with a little hardware. The agency’s work on the Expeditions 7 website earned a coveted Gold Award, and a holiday self-promotion piece took home a Silver. The creative team designed a witty card/poster that lets you discover the holiday celebration that best suits your personal tastes and beliefs. Download a copy of the poster at www.saxtonhorne.com/blog. The sold-out gala was held on February 8, 2014 at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. The local awards event is part of the larger national American Advertising Awards program, and is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative creative competition, recognizing creative excellence in the art of advertising. The competition represents the broadest creative spirit of advertising by recognizing all forms of advertising; in all varieties of media; created by all sizes and types of entrants; and from all over the country. More than 40,000 total entries are entered and judged annually. “Awards like the ADDYs are a testament to the creative thought, energy and hard work of our entire agency,” said SAX President David Blain.
