Business, Basketball Merge at ZBBC

Bringing the Team Together.

The business and basketball units of the Utah Jazz are coming together under one roof with the creation of the Zions Bank Basketball Campus, a fully-supported and innovative environment for the entire Jazz operational team.

The facility will be enlarged into a nearly 90,000 square foot complex with an expansion into the former Prestige Financial building. Upgrades include a new player locker room;
a“ living room” lounge and gaming area; an outdoor recreational court; and new weight and fitness training, sports medicine, and fullservice kitchen and dining areas.
The remodel will connect basketball operations with business functions such as marketing, corporate partnerships, and ticketing.
“ Our family continues to reinvest in the organization by having the finest facilities for our players, coaches, and staff,” said Steve Miller, vice chairman of the Board of Directors for the Larry H. Miller Management Corporation and chair of the arena renovation committee.
“ Along with the renovation of Vivint Smart Home Arena, this investment will ensure from the practice gym to our home arena that the Jazz will have world-class facilities to back our championship aspirations.” ◆

Kasey Webster: LHM Superstar

MUR General Manager’ s Achievements Acknowledged

Kasey Webster, general manager of Larry H. Miller Toyota Murray, was recently recognized by Utah Business Magazine as one of“ 30 Women to Watch” at a luncheon held on May 22, 2017. For nearly two decades, the magazine has annually selected 30 women who are at the top of their respective fields to honor in both its May issue and at an awards luncheon.

Webster began her career as an evening receptionist at Larry H. Miller Chevrolet Murray at the age of 17. By the age of 22, she was a finance and insurance manager at the LHM Cadillac store. She continued to work her way up in the organization and is now one of the top-performing general managers in the 60-plus dealership organization. She helmed the LHM Chevrolet Murray store for several years and led it to become the number one Chevrolet dealership in Utah.
When asked about what advice she would offer to young women considering the automotive industry, Webster said:“ Just do it.” She acknowledges there are not a lot of women in the industry, but says women can succeed there.“ People love to buy from women, they really do. They love that different atmosphere and the personality that women bring to it. Women would do so well, the more of them that come into the automotive industry.”
“ We have so many different benefits that we really get to make sure [ our employees ] really grow,” said Webster when asked what she enjoys most about her work.“ Now, as I get a little further in my career, I love being able to take all of my employees and help them to be able to further their career.” ◆
