N
ot many Group employees show up to a
Megaplex theatre complex at 8 a.m. on a
Thursday, but for a handful of dealership
teams and their high-achieving members,
December 12 held that annual special reason
to wake up early and fill the cushy auditorium
seating.
The 2019 Sales Awards honored 69
individuals representing 27 dealerships for
their remarkable contributions to driving the
company forward by achieving annual sales of
175 to 300 units—or more, with top-performer
Clay Schroff selling 455 units. It’s clear that our
salespeople individually reflect the value of
Hard Work in their daily performance at their
dealerships.

Gail Miller offered her appreciation and
encouragement to those in attendance. “I am
just in awe of all of you and the work you do
that gets you here. You have a work ethic that
brings you to the very top, and I appreciate that.
This is an incredible feat. People need leaders
like you—the world needs you.”
The procession of honored employees was
impressive, and their efforts to achieve and
exceed their goals and attain such success is
inspiring. It was evident that our dealerships

and salespeople are hungry to achieve the same
and more in 2020.
President of Larry H. Miller Dealerships,
Dean Fitzpatrick, said, “There were some
significant accomplishments by each of you. It’s
a big deal. It’s a big deal for those who achieved
it and their families, it’s a big deal for the stores,
and it’s a big deal for the organization. Thank
you for your efforts to get there.” ◆
