Miller Group. Its purpose is to document important events and milestones, as well as share the successes and achievements of our employees as they exemplify the mission, vision, values, and guiding principles of the company. Announcements November 7, 2018: The Utah Jazz, Chick-fil-A, and Will Dance for Kids Project teamed up to host a food drive for peanut butter at the Jazz vs. Dallas Mavericks game on Wednesday, Nov. 7. Nov. 7, 2018: Utah Jazz alumnus Darrell Griffith made an appearance for the team’s game against the Dallas Mavericks at Vivint Smart Home Arena when the team debuted its Classic Edition jerseys and celebrated the 40th season of NBA basketball in Utah. November 8, 2018: Jazz guard Grayson Allen and forward Royce O’Neale hosted local military members and their families from Continue Mission for an afternoon of fun at Dave & Buster’s. The event was part of the NBA’s Hoops for Troops initiative, which honors active and retired service members and their families. November 15, 2018: LHM Subaru Boise announced its participation in the 2018 Subaru Share the Love event and named Women’s & Children’s Alliance and Big Brothers Big Sisters as its hometown charities. November 17, 2018: Mike Jensen, a regional finance manager for LHM Dealerships passed away. Jensen was a 20-year veteran of the LHM Group in Utah and was known for making others feel valued and appreciated. November 17, 2018: LHM Liberty Toyota Colorado Springs is named #2 for Service at a Dealership in the 25th Annual “Best of Colorado Springs” issue of the Colorado Springs Independent. November 20, 2018: The Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union announced that Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah was the first Pass It Along award recipient of the Jazz season. November 26, 2018: The Utah Jazz invited fans to bring toys to its Monday, November 26, game at Vivint Smart Home Arena. Toys were donated to children in need via the Stella H. Oaks Foundation. November 28, 2018: Stars center Willie Reed, the No. 1 overall selection in the 2018 NBA G League Draft, hosted a FIT Clinic presented by University of Utah Health for about 60 elementary school youth at the Capitol West Boys & Girls Club. Nov. 29, 2018: The Utah Jazz announced that the team had acquired guard/forward Kyle Korver from Cleveland in exchange for guard Alec Burks and two future second-round draft picks. December 5, 2018: A partnership announced between Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation and Larry H. Miller Charities will rebuild both the Larry H. Miller Softball Complex in Millcreek, Utah, and the Valley Regional Softball Complex in Taylorsville, Utah. December 8, 2018: Vivint Smart Home Arena hosted a college basketball doubleheader on the afternoon of Saturday, December 8, in the second edition of the Zions Bank Beehive Classic. Brigham Young University played the University of Utah followed by Utah State University against Weber State University. The Whitworth’s missionary service will last for three years. As a result, Clark will be stepping down as the CEO of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. Under Gail Miller’s leadership, the board of directors will conduct an internal and external search for a new CEO. Clark will continue in his role as CEO and as a member of the board of the directors until his replacement is named.
