MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
CONGRATULATIONS ON AN AMAZING YEAR
As we approach the end of
another year, I want to take this
opportunity to thank you and
congratulate you for what you
helped make possible in 2014. I am
humbled and amazed every day at
the collective strength, experience
and capacity of this organization. I
give full credit for those attributes
to you, our wonderful employees
and associates, who give so much
and protect our collective interests
so well.
While it would be impossible to list every significant event
that took place in the last 12 months, I’d like to highlight a few
that impressed me the most.
▷ The Utah Jazz hired Quin
Snyder as head coach. In the
short time Quin has been
with the organization, he has
demonstrated leadership
qualities and an ability
to motivate his players
consistent with the values of
this organization.
▷ We acquired our first
dealership in California.
It is a Toyota store in
the city of Corona. It will
contribute 2,600-2,800
vehicle sales in 2015.
◁ We acquired a Chrysler
Dodge Jeep Ram store in
Thornton, Colorado. This
store will add 2,200-2,400
retail units per year.
◇ We sold over 100,000 cars in one year for the first time
in our history. That’s enough cars to form a bumper-tobumper,
single file line all the way from Phoenix, Arizona
to Los Angeles, California!
◁ We sold our 1.5 millionth
car. It took 22 years to sell
our first 500,000 cars. It
took seven years to sell
our most recent 500,000
(see the feature story on
page 4).
▷ We (collectively) kept our
health insurance premiums
flat for the fourth consecutive
year. That is the result of
all of us putting greater
focus on our health and the
health of our families, and a
great example that we are
achieving our organization’s
mission to enrich lives.
▷ Day of Service is one
of my favorite things
about this company
and working with
all of you. This
event, perhaps more
than any other,
exemplifies who
we are. And it gets
bigger and better
every year.
◁ Bryan Miller and the folks
at Miller Inspiration put
the finishing touches on a
document that succinctly
expresses our mission,
vision, values and guiding
principles. It will be known
as “Who We Are.” You will
be hearing more about this
in the first part of 2015.
◁ Most importantly, we
were able to help countless
individuals, communities
and organizations improve
their circumstances
because of the profits
you generated, the
opportunities your efforts
made possible, and the
service you gave.
There are many more exciting things in the works. I believe
the next 12 months will be at least as eventful as the last 12, if
not more so. Thank you for making that possible. Thank you
for your loyalty. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the
wonderful things you do.

a happy and prosperous 2015 to you and your loved ones.
