EAA Chapter 34 Special Events at GKY in March
March 14, 2017 EAA Meeting—Special Guest Speaker Colonel Richard Graham
The EAA invites you to attend their March 14th meeting. Colonel Richard Graham,
USAF retired, will be presenting. During his distinguished career, Colonel Graham
amassed 756 hours in the SR-71, the worlds fastest, highest-flying jet aircraft, and
has written five books on the subject.
The meeting will be held in the Airport Terminal lobby. It will begin at 7pm, with
snacks and announcements, followed by Colonel Graham’s presentation.

March 25, 2017 EAA Young Eagles Rally
EAA is holding its Young Eagles Rally at the
Airport terminal building on Saturday, March
25, 2017 beginning at 8:30 a.m. The rally pro-
vides an opportunity for youth ages 8-17 to
learn about Aviation through ground school
and other aviation-related classes and to fly in
a small aircraft, at no cost.
Class time will run about 1-1/2 hours, and the
briefing/flight/debriefing will take about an hour. EAA is limiting the number of
children to approximately 35.

Codes will change Monday,

Please remember airport dump-
sters are only for refuse generat-
ed at the Airport. Place trash
inside the dumpster. Republic
will not pick up if there is trash in
front of, or to the side of the
dumpster.
Demolition of T-Hangar Rows #1 and #3 has begun. The project is expected to take
