HARVESTING EVREMOND 2 October 2018 marked our ‘ mini ’ harvest , with the picking of the first grapes of Domaine Evremond providing a practice run for the first full harvest which took place in 2019 . Since then , we have harvested every year with an increasing crop as we increased our vineyard holding and plantings .
HOUSING EVREMOND Building a winery for Domaine Evremond has been a patient and meticulous process . Beginning with designs in 2017 , we have worked with a team of experts to create a state-of-the-art winery that will house our wines for decades , even centuries , to come . After five years of design and planning , building began in 2022 .
It was important that the design complemented the beautiful Kentish landscape around us and we also made sure that the building functioned as ecologically as possible . We even plan to add to the biodiversity at the site .
We are very proud of what has been designed and cannot wait for the building work to finish in summer 2024 .
THE WAIT IS NEARLY OVER Opening in autumn 2024 , the new visitor centre is situated in the heart of Domaine Evremond in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty . We look forward to sharing our home with you from autumn 2024 when the first release of the Classic Cuvée will be available for purchase . Tastings will be available by appointment only from autumn 2024 and our guided vineyard tours will commence from spring 2025 .
