CASE STUDY | SCREENS D ianna and Nick had just moved into their dream home, a courtyard style home with wooden- decked veranda, perfect for lots of entertaining. However, they soon realised that they would need a screening system to fully enjoy their outdoor living area and the view. With a bit of research, Dianna and Nick chose SupaScreen by Amplimesh, an innovative screening system designed to enhance the concept of indoor-outdoor living. The folding door option is capable of screening large openings without obstructing the view or outdoor access. Needless to say, the couple was relieved to find a quality system that could be retrofitted to their folding doors. "Our view of the outdoor area and beyond remains unobstructed, as we originally planned. I'm really happy about that," Nick says. Dianna adds, "Our electricity bills have reduced substantially because we can leave the doors open on warm nights and can turn off our cooling system. The Amplimesh screens allow more natural ventilation throughout the house and I know that we're comfortable, and safe, while we sleep." "It fits in perfectly. We're thrilled to be able to maintain the integrity of the overall design," Dianna says. "Product selection and installation was so smooth we're already looking at Amplimesh entrance doors and windows for some more modernisation next year." WINDOWS MAGAZINE 43
