Williamson College of the Trades prepares deserving young men to be respected leaders and productive members of society . Through scholarships that fully meet each student ’ s financial need , Williamson uniquely develops the entire student , spiritually , socially , and professionally , emphasizing academic , trade , technical , and moral education in a structured community based on Judeo-Christian principles .

In framing its educational vision and mission , Williamson draws from two foundational sources – the Bible , which was Isaiah Williamson ’ s guiding light , and the college ’ s Deed of Trust .
Williamson ’ s Core Values , outlined above , are not an arbitrary assortment of individual qualities , but the foundation that we all strive to embody in our daily lives . It is in these Core Values that we find the substance of what it means to be a “ Williamson Man .”
A Williamson Man aspires to be a model of respectability by his family and friends , his neighbors , and coworkers . He is viewed in this most commendable light because he has shaped his life in adherence with positive , enduring values . The Williamson Man strives to ground his character in the values of Faith and Integrity ; he demonstrates his character in a life of Diligence and Excellence , and he orients his outlook toward the Service of others .

Also foundational for who he is and what he does , the Williamson Man is committed to integrity , to living a life of honor and truth . He is willing to adhere to this standard of honesty even when it is difficult to achieve and regardless of the cost . He is known as a man of his word .
The character of a Williamson Man can be seen in the way he lives his life , by the diligence that marks all his efforts . To accomplish his goals , he is careful and unrelenting . He considers a matter prudently , accompanied by a tireless energy to accomplish his goal .
The Williamson Man strives for excellence in every endeavor , as if he were doing it personally for the One greater than himself . He is unsatisfied by the merely satisfactory and seeks to surpass expectations in every endeavor .
