develop draft Operational Tasks and Metrics . Each Functional Working Group met multiple times to identify appropriate Operational Tasks and Metrics that aligned closely with Strategic Goals and their Initiatives and Objectives .
January – February 2021 : The draft Strategic Plan , including Strategic Goals , Objectives , and Initiatives , and the plan ’ s associated Operational Tasks and Metrics , were reviewed by the Board Strategic Planning Committee , and the plan was revised accordingly .
March 2021 : At an off-site planning retreat , the Board of Trustees reviewed the analysis previously conducted by the various planning committees and the draft Strategic Goals , Objectives , and Initiatives . The chairs of each Functional Working Group then presented the developed draft Operational Tasks and Metrics to the Board . Recommendations made by the full Board were assessed by the planning committees for possible inclusion within the draft Strategic Plan .
April – May 2021 : For each Objective / Initiative , a cross-departmental team was assigned to work with the EXCOM to develop Tactical Tasks and Metrics , forecast preliminary budgetary impacts , and create implementation timetables to support its assigned Operational Tasks . Upon approval of the Strategic Plan , the cross-departmental teams see to the accomplishment of their assigned tasks , under the oversight of the EXCOM .
June 2021 : The Strategic Plan , 2021-2026 for Williamson College of the Trades was formally approved by the Board of Trustees and publicly announced .
8 Strategic Plan 2021 – 2026
