Palestine ISD 2017 Teachers of the Year
Ginny Gayso
Ginny Gayso , Northside Primary School first grade teacher was selected as the district ’ s elementary Teacher of the Year . Mrs . Gayso was also named Region 7 Teacher of the Year . She will go on to represent Region 7 as a semi-finalist in the 2017 Texas Teacher of the Year competition . Congratulations and good luck Mrs . Gayso !
Luis Hernandez
Coach Luis Hernandez , Palestine Junior High School science teacher , and assistant coach for the PHS Girls ’ Soccer Team , was selected as the district ’ s secondary Teacher of the Year . Congratulations Coach Hernandez !
