Wildcat Weekly 3400 ?
Districtwide enrollment is at an all-time high this week ! As of yesterday there were 3,390 - only 10 students away from 3400 . We need to continue locating all students in the community who need to be in school . Let ’ s work hard to reach the 3400 peak .
Today we reached the end of the second week of school and students are settling in for a new school year . Encourage students to do their best every day , and remember that today ’ s efforts will help them achieve the dreams of their future .
TACE after school programs kicked off this week to provide students learning opportunities in addition to what they receive during the regular school day . The after school programs are held Monday – Thursday , and are available to students in grades K-12 . See your child ’ s campus TACE Coordinator for more information on TACE programs . All Palestine ISD parents are invited to attend one of the TACE Program ’ s listed below in which I will be sharing information about the district .

On Labor Day students from the CTE Department will be at Lowe ’ s promoting career opportunities and the support Lowe ’ s has provided students through Skills USA . Students from multiple career clusters and career pathways will be at the store to discuss Career Pathways , Career Goals , and the CTE Partnership with Lowe ’ s . Lowe ’ s sponsored many of the activities at the Skills USA National Conference along with providing each of the 24 chapters a $ 2000.00 grant .
Fans who would like to purchase football tickets prior to game nights may do so in the Palestine ISD Administration Office each Monday-Thursday from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm and 8:30 am to noon on Friday . Reserved seat tickets are $ 7.00 , and General Admission seats are $ 5.00 . All seats are $ 7.00 at the gate .
The Wildcats will play the Jacksonville Indians in their first home football game tonight at Wildcat Stadium beginning at 7:30 pm . The first 1,000 fans will receive foam Spirit Fingers to commemorate the opening of the 2015-16 football season . Thank you to United Country Lake Palestine Real Estate , Farm Bureau Insurance Company , and Keith Eiben trucking for donating the foam Spirit Fingers .
