Palestine High School's CULINARY ARTS
On December 9, the Culinary Arts program, led by Mrs. Mason, participated in the annual Wine Swirl located in downtown Palestine. For the past 3 years, the Culinary Arts students have provided delicious appetizers for this event. They have made over 8,000 appetizers in total! The appetizers for the Wine Swirl are determined by the new trends at the time. One year, the appetizers were made with sweet potato. Last year, they made chocolate covered bacon. This has provided the students with real life experience and given students the chance to work with an experienced chef and experience work in catering.
