Did you know?

Vibbrisae (chin whiskers) are very important for horses. This appendage assists in understanding their environments.

Horses need free space, belongingness and relationship. As herd animals these features are very important to their internal well-being. This means they need to be part of a herd, have free time to play and enjoy kicking their hooves up and allow them to be their true selves - horses!

Animals are very much affected by changes in family dynamics. It always helps to tell them before change will occur - they know more than you think, they feel more than you think and love more than you think!

Animals act as reflectors of your internal milleau. Don't you find that animals act out some of your personality? Or bring it to your attention?

Animals need species-specific nutrition, sushine, fresh air, play, relationship, compassion and understanding. After all they show you all of these and more!

Animals don't like it when you are not fully present when you are with them, they feel disrespected. One day I saw a dog with his owner at the beach going for a walk. Only the owner was consistently on the phone. The dog told me that they were not fully 'together' when he was not present and wanted the phone gone. Heed your animals and be fully present with them. They are with you!
