James is an avid outdoors man that loves to be on the water or in the bush. Creator of the www.northernontariofishingforum.com, an online community for Northern Ontario outdoors enthusiasts. James is always looking to meet new people and share past stories and memories along with getting outdoors and making new ones.
Bruce Heidman - writer and photographer
Bruce has worked as a reporter in Greater Sudbury for more than 20 years. A life-long outdoors aficionado and fishing fanatic, he is most at home on the water with a fishing rod in his hands.
Lara Bradley - writer and photographer
Lara is Northerner and writer, who would rather be outside than in cubicle, despite the masses of mosquitoes and black flies. She's been nominated for several Ontario Newspaper Awards and won one for environmental reporting. She lives in Greater Sudbury with her family.
Ed Veilleux - writer
Ed has written for the Northern Life, the Sudbury Star and the Canadian Press. He graduated from Cambrian College's Journalism program, has a communications degree from Laurentian University, and a Master of Philosophy degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Most recently, he covered the St. John's IceCaps in Newfoundland for the Canadian Press.

Leigha was born and raised in northern Ontario. If you can’t find her outside, she’s likely in the kitchen. Partner of a modern lumberjack, her life carries the permanent aroma of cinnamon, fresh air and cedar.

Krystie is an English major from Laurentian University. Born and raised in Kenora, Ontario, she resides now in Greater Sudbury. Krystie enjoys camping, hiking and gardening.
