Swim News White Columns Waves Swim Team 2015 Summer Registration You may register by mail by filling out the registration forms (available from Cindy Ford, please contact her) along with payment to me (address noted on form). I encourage everyone to register soon, once age groups are filled up, they will be closed. Also, please note that while summer swim league is fun and we will make your kids better swimmers, they need to have a basic understanding of how to swim. Swimmers should be able to swim the length of the pool, unassisted, within a 2-minute time period. Additionally, swimmers ages 7+ should have a basic understanding of at least two of the four strokes. If you have questions on this, please let me know. SUITS: Suits will remain the same from last year. If you need a new suit and know the size, you can order it online (please contact Cindy Ford for the link). If you need to try on a suit, the Swim Shop will be holding a suit fitting at the Veranda Club on March 22nd from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. You can purchase suit(s) directly from them. LEAGUE FEE: Every swimmer MUST be registered with the league before they can swim. This is a separate annual fee and cannot be included in your Waves payment. Cost is $24 per swimmer (including 15-18 year olds) and covers the coordination from the league to set up the meets, refs, insurance, etc. If you swam last year, you’ve probably already been sent a reminder. Please do this asap, we will not be able to put your swimmer on the team roster until this is complete. T 1. o register, go to www.atlantaswimming.com and click on the link for online registration.
