INTRODUCTION
Finally I have a book… Yippee! I am so excited about this book DATE
NIGHTS.
As an unrepentant advocate of date nights in marriage, I often get the side
eye when I try to explain why it is important to the survival of couple
hood to have regular and intentional date nights; this remark is often met
with…“you don’t know really busy we are to be bothered about mundane
things like going out to eat regularly just the two of us, when it’s not a spe-
cial occasion comment” and I in return askes them why did you find it
easy to go on dates before you got married?
It is sad that we need to date to get married but can’t find the time to date
to stay married.
Imagine marriage to be a vehicle, no matter the model and manufactured
year it needs an engine and good tyres. You and your spouse are the engine
while date nights are the tyres.
Date nights keep you grounded to each other. It reminds you of
where you started from, it re-ignite the fire of your passion.
Date Night says I see you, I value the sacrifices you make for us
and you're still as sexy as you were when we first met.
It reminds you where you started from and how far you have come
together.
So I hope you not just enjoy reading, but practice and go on to create beau-
tiful memories with your spouse.
