Course Name: Latin II Type of Course: Elective Course Available to: 9th- 12th grade
Prerequisites: Latin I( 70 %- 89 %)
Description: Building on the foundation established in Latin I, this course aims to deepen students ' understanding of Latin grammar, expand their vocabulary, and foster a greater appreciation for the literary achievements of the Roman civilization. Latin II serves as the end introductory language studies of Latin.

Prerequisites: Latin I( 90 %+) OR H. Latin I( 85 %+)
Description: This is an accelerated course designed to be an intellectually stimulating course designed to deepen your proficiency in the Latin language and foster a sophisticated understanding of the culture of Ancient Rome. Building upon the foundation established in Honors Latin I, this course challenges students to reach higher levels of linguistic mastery and critical engagement with classical texts. This course is designed for students who seek a challenging and enriching experience in Latin studies and prepares students for advanced levels of Latin proficiency, laying the groundwork for future exploration of classical literature, linguistics, and culture. Students earn an additional 0.5 quality point towards their GPA for this course.

Prerequisites: Latin II( 90 %+) + course waiver OR H. Latin II( 85 %+)
Description: This is an advanced course that propels students to the pinnacle of Latin proficiency while developing critical reading analysis. It continues the journey into the linguistic and intellectual richness of Ancient Rome.
