Shawnique Cotton
On December 28th, I was headed home after spending hours in an emergency room with my ex. We found out we were six weeks pregnant. He was elated, I recall being confused. On the way taking me home, my ex stopped at a nightclub after noticing his friends’ vehicle. He wanted to go in to see his friend. I walked into that nightclub to use the restroom. Within 10 minutes after entering the club, a fight broke out and three women were hit by one bullet. The bullet entered my mid-back, traveled up, and exited my neck.
