I enjoy supporting the community through our involvement with a variety of community events and fundraisers. Through friendships and clients, I have had the joy of meeting and participating in many events over the 30 years I have lived in Phoenix. As an employer, I can support others’ in their passions for their community and where they want to be involved. We have been provided with sponsorship to Day on the Lake and Driving to Excel events, Spinal Muscular Atrophy conferences, Camp with a Ramp and Brain Injury Alliance events which touch Driving To Independence on a personal level.

I love the creativity, perseverance and generosity of the spinal cord injury community. On a regular basis, I see the creativity members of our community have to participate in everyday activities. As an occupational therapist I am interested in the new gadget or technique someone employs or has modified for their independence. My life is larger because of the generosity of those around me and their willingness to share their knowledge with someone or to demonstrate a vehicle or equipment needed by one of our clients.
