I wanted to have an impact in our community and the best way I knew how to do that was to elevate my patients’ level of independence in their community. to a leadership role at the national level for our professional organization. The Association of Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED) is an industry leader in the field of driver rehabilitation. level of comfort outside of what is familiar to me. I have traveled to 34 states, 25 countries and 5 continents. I personal curiosity pushes me to learn phrases in new languages, use local currency, drive in foreign countries use public transportation where possible, eat in out of the way places and learn local customs and norms. I love to SCUBA dive and explore reefs. Being underwater is peaceful and quieter than I would expect, only my breathes can be heard. I would encourage everyone to prioritize travel to explore our state as well as unknown and far off locations. I am a family member. My family keeps me busy and I love it! Whether the 2 legged or 4 legged members, we love to spend time together for dinner on the weekends, hiking and dog parks with each other, baseball games together or exploring new camping locations we are often not home! I am a runner. Running is where I do my best thinking,
