THE VIEW Etikans Say From studying to catching up with friends, here's how some of our Etikans spend their weekends. I’m a nanny on weekends. I usually spend my day at home with my family doing house chores and entertaining my nephews and nieces. Once they go back to their parents, I would be having my quiet “ME” time and chill with Netflix. I spend my weekends by spending time with my family and playing with my cats. I have two cats and they are growing up too fast. They follow me everywhere I go in the house. Whenever I sit on the couch, they would sit on my lap and love being spoiled. I find such moments relaxing and I enjoy that the most. I would then drive my kids to the outskirts of Kuching town to let them see and experience the nature and to understand the culture. It is important for them to know what is happening in town, like knowing how the people live in the outskirts, rather than allowing my kids to play gadgets and staying idle at home. I like to expose my kids to the things and games that I used to play when I was a boy, which I think most of the younger generation may not even know. WEE BOON KUI Vending Etika Sdn Bhd, Kuching
