THE VIEW Etikans Say From studying to having a family picnic, here's how some of our Etikans spend their weekends. In the last 5 years, I spent most of my weekends studying as a postgraduate student. During the first 4 years, my classes were only on alternate weekends. Currently, I am completing my thesis as I have completed all my classes for this semester. In between those classes, I spent most of my time with my wife and kids. Insert: Aban is seen with his martial arts comrades at the Karnival Jom Sihat. ABAN KILAUAN Logistics Etika Sdn Bhd, Bangi 2 On weekends, I would prepare breakfast for my family. After breakfast, my husband and I would do some house chores together before we head out to the playground and have a picnic with our children. After the picnic, we would do some shopping which will usually take more than three hours. We also tend to go to bed early on weekends as we want to be able to perform morning prayers together the next day. I am grateful to have a happy family and a very understanding husband. I hope the next weekend will come very soon and I am pretty sure that it will be as good as the previous one. I would like to share our family “motto” with all Etikans; that is “LOVE, CARE & SHARE”, which resonates well with Etika’s motto, “We Care. We Share. We Grow Together”.
