Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Let
the Right one in
Tomas Alfredson is a Swedish director
from Lidingö. He grew up in a home
where movies were often on the topic as
his father was an director and pretty
famous actor. His father was constantly
out working so he pretty much grew up in
a home without his father. Every summer
he met his father and used to accompany
him at his workplaces where he met with
many famous movie people and he got a
idea of what the movie bussiness was all
about.
His career started to really be something

Swedish tv-programs. Programs called
”Fångarna på fortet” and ”Bert”. A couple
of years after this Tomas Alfredson
started working at his real ”breakthrough

Låt den rätte komma in is about a boy

Stockholm in the mid 80´s. The boy gets
very bullied at school and has a pretty
tough life at home aswell. One day he
meets this skinny little girl at the
playground outside his house called Eli.
They develop a great friendship, but
Oskar senses there is something a little of
about Eli. Soon he realizes Eli is a
vampire.
He later began working at the movie
Tinker, tailor, soldier, spy which got great
reviews from several film critics. It´s kind

The main character is called George
Smiley (played by Gary Oldman), a
retired MI6 agent who is trying to adapt

he gets information that there is a
”mole” (a spy) at the top positions of MI6
he is forced back to work to find out who
