Practice field
Although Buzz Robotics has owned a practice field for three years, this year has brought some welcomed changes. In the past, the practice field was held in unused parts of school gyms across Enfield. However, due to the closing of Fermi High, the field was moved to the second half of its cafeteria( the first half being used for team meetings). These changes have allowed, not only more access to the field, but also more time to edit the field components. Since the revelation, mentors and students have been working on building pieces of the field for this year’ s game. Now into week three, the field is operational enough to begin small practice sessions, such as testing the prototype of the shooter and its ability to throw a fuel ball into the almost 10 feet high boiler.
