Queensland Women ' s Week – Be involved , lead the way
This year ' s event will be held at Mareeba Heritage Coffee House on March 10 , Kicking off at 6:00pm with drinks , nibbles and networking on the deck . This project will enhance and inspire rural women ' s natural capacity as natural resource managers - whether that ' s as their children ' s first teacher , as land managers or as community leaders . It will provide networks in management and assist to build their leadership and confidence in this area , providing pathways for women to take leadership responsibilities within the land management , as well as within social , producer and political groups and committees . $ 15 per person . 345 Byrnes Street , Mareeba .
