Organisers are positive that this world class FMX
entertainment will see a bumper crowd on both
days of the Show with two shows daily. The
Atherton Show is during the school holidays this
year with the public holiday on Tuesday 10 July.
A few days later on 14-15 July will be the massively
popular Mareeba Rodeo.
People travel from across the country for this
major event and this year will be bigger and better
than before with hundreds of new seats plus a
brand new lighting and PA system. The rodeo
committee have worked hard all year to improve
the facilities at Kerribee Park, seeing the profile of
this hotly anticipated event raised even higher.

Although the bull riding and horse events are not to be missed over the two day
event, there is a hive of activity happening already throughout the town as rodeo
fever gets into over drive. The Ute Muster, Down Town Parade, Garden Show and
the crowning of the Rodeo Queen and Cowpokes are all happening in the lead up
to the main attraction.
Nearly 14,000 people made it through the gates last year with just as many
expected this year – so get there early to grab a seat!
