Percebes

Percebes is a filter-feeding crustacean found in specific places of ocean coasts, attached to rocky cliffs. Therefore they are pretty hard to find and harvest. People can die trying to get them. Their English name is "goose barnacles," but they have nothing to do with geese. They are more popular in Spain and Portugal, primarily as Christmas treats.
